AAC strives to ensure that all presentations are developed and presented in an appropriate and respectful way. Presentations with drawings, photographs, or other visual depictions of human remains or funerary objects will not be allowed.
AAC will host additional events for students and recent graduates on Saturday, October 12. The Saturday events are developed to provide students with mentoring, training, and skills that would be useful resume builders for cultural resource management jobs. Spaces for Saturday's events are limited. Contact aacpresident@azarchaeology.org for details and availability.
The conference is free to attend for AAC members; however, donations from the professional archaeological community help underwrite conference expenses. Thank you to our conference sponsors and vendors! (interested in becoming a sponsor? Visit our store or contact us at aac@azarchaeology.org). Click on the logos below to view company websites. Students and recent graduates, get prepared for the AAC Fall Conference Student Outreach Session: Best Practices in Conference Presentations. This is an opportunity to present and credit your research. The event will start with a panel discussion on best presentation practices, followed by an AAC Board Member(s) presentation: Presenting Conference Presentations: Does and Don’ts. Then, students and presenters will have a Q&A session with the panel. For the finale, students and/or recent graduates will give PowerPoint presentations. If you are interested in presenting at this professional event, Action team members will help you develop a presentation. Members are invited to join the panel and to encourage new hires to join the AAC and present at the conference. Please support the event with a sponsorship. And most importantly, attend the event!
