EcoPlan Associates, Inc., is now accepting applications for the position of Field Director/Project Director with a specialization in Historical Archaeology. The candidate will be responsible for conducting archival and historic research; writing national register nominations and historic contexts; preparing research designs; and conducting and reporting cultural resource survey, testing, and data recovery projects.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Master’s degree in anthropology or archaeology, prior project director experience, and familiarity with current cultural resource issues and historic archaeology (19th century) of the American Southwest and Great Basin. All applicants must be available for in-person interviews. The successful candidate will be based in the Mesa, Arizona, office.

Compensation: EcoPlan offers a competitive salary (commensurate with experience) and full-time positions that include full vacation, medical, and retirement benefits.
